destiny vs. free will

The question of destiny or free will comes up often. Are we really thrown down here randomly with no definitive game plan to flounder on our own and make decisions with no thought or guidance from the higher realms? Or is everything perfectly imperfect and divinely planned to the exact T?  Maybe the how we achieve whatever it is we came here to accomplish is not so set in stone. Perhaps the daily day to day decisions, like what we eat for lunch or which sweater to buy at the store are the little mundane details that are left to our ego’s free will. But what if the Why we make those free will decisions is where the destiny comes in? I like to think that we are all part of a bigger deeper divine plan.  Our soul is a source of Love connected to the whole and in being that it would only make sense that we are a part of a greater order.  So the why we are here is where the destiny comes in and the how we get there is part of the free will. So in essence it is not destiny OR free will but rather destiny AND free will. Maybe the bigger part of the plan, the main soul reason to incarnate, the lessons we came here to learn to grow on our soul’s journey of expansion are where the destiny is set in stone.  And maybe the how we get to the where and why is part of our ego’s free will.
